How does Stake’s referral program work?

Once you’ve opened a Stake account, you can earn rewards by inviting friends, family and contacts to join the platform using your unique referral code.

You’ll find your code in the Rewards hub of the Stake app or web:

• App: Go to More > Profile

• Web: Click Menu > Get rewards

Referral rewards on Stake Wall St

When someone signs up using your referral code and funds their Stake Wall St account, you’ll receive a free U.S. stock — randomly chosen from Nike, Dropbox or GoPro.

There’s no 24-hour limit for their deposit to count toward your reward but they must fund within 24 hours of signing up to receive their free starter stock. So it’s worth giving them a nudge.

Referral rewards on Stake AUS

Referring someone to Stake AUS gives you discounted ASX brokerage.

For each referral who signs up and funds their Stake AUS account, you’ll get $1 off brokerage for a year (capped at 10 ASX trades per month).

These discounts stack — so if you refer two people, you’ll get $2 off per trade, and so on (up to $3 per trade).

This could mean up to 10 free ASX trades per month, if each trade is under A$30K.

What if I refer more than three people to Stake AUS?

If you refer more than three people in a 12-month period, you’ll bank any extra discounts to kick in once an existing discount period ends.

Example:

• You refer friends #1–#3 and earn $3 off per trade (total)

• Then you refer friend #4

• Once friend #1’s 12-month discount ends, the system automatically applies friend #4’s discount — keeping your total at $3 off

• As other discounts expire, your total will adjust accordingly.

Each brokerage discount lasts 12 months from the date your referral funds their account.

Managing referrals and tracking rewards

You can track pending and active rewards in the Rewards tab of your Stake account.

We’ll also:

• Send reminders if someone used your code but hasn’t funded yet

• Notify you when your stock or discount is ready to claim

Stock rewards are credited within 1–2 business days after claiming.
