The ASX is open from 10am to 4pm (AEST) Monday to Friday, excluding national public holidays. On these days, the market is closed and orders won’t be executed.

At Stake, you can place limit and stop orders anytime. If a limit order is placed while the market is closed (for example, after 4:12pm on weekdays), it’ll be submitted the next trading day during Pre-Open at 7am.
Market orders can only be placed between 10am and 4:21pm (AEST/AEDT) on trading days.
